Once again I am amazed by this book The storyline continues on from White Stag perfectly and it never feels like it s just a rehash of the first book The characters all grow and have to face new challenges Janneke is struggling with her stag powers and Soren is adapting to being Erking And then Janneke learns that she has to return her tormentor to life so that the world won t be destroyed There are some new characters introduced in this book and my favorites are Freya and Rose I can t wait to f [...]

I m always at conflict between I liked this book and this wasn t a very good book as is the case with Goblin King and maybe that just reflects on me as a person All technicalities aside, I did enjoy reading this but I also have a lot of issues with it.The inconsistency of characters for example really put me off sometimes I noticed it with Soren in the first book but just overlooked it, but in Goblin King a lot of dialogue and action didn t quite meet the first impression of a given character Bu [...]
